Early Interventions

Early Intervention (EI) Colorado supports families of children from birth to their third birthday who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Research shows that the first three years of a child’s life are the most important when it comes to developing and learning. For parents of children with special needs providing services earlier on will help children reach their full potential and decrease the need for additional supports later in life.

Child Find

Child find is a free community screening program for early identification of developmental delays for kids from birth to 5 years old. This includes speech/ language skills, motor skills, cognitive and social-emotional development, and vision and hearing screenings.
